About the Absinthe Diary Quills
"A quill takes you somewhere else when writing; it does not flow fast over the paper, instead it moves across the surface, scratches the ink into the fibers. There is a sound and feel to it that is indescribable.
Quills are for when I want to write slow and with intent. Something happens too, when writing with one, your language changes, and you find yourself writing from a place deeper, words flowing from an older place inside your soul...
I love nothing more, than lighting an oil lamp or candle, setting a book of Poe or Wilde on the table, opening my journal and settling in
for a night of musings.
All of the Absinthe Diary Quills are original designs and are hand made.
You can select from my offerings, the quills have a way of finding their owners. When you see it you know! Another option is having me custom make one for you. It is fun to do this because from you I will learn the things you and your writing are drawn to, find the things that have special meaning, listen for your passions and create something unique from them.
All of the Absinthe Diary Quills have some secret inside, under the creating of it, a special message from me to your muses. Who knows but, I like to think it adds a little magic to the mystery and feel of writing with a quill pen!
There is a process I use making them, that makes some look almost glass-like depending on the style. All of the quills are treated with a special process, as to assure a lifetime of usability, inspiration and pleasure.
