Leila A. Fortier is a writer, artist, poet and photographer currently residing on the remote island of Okinawa, Japan, where each piece of sea-glass known as 'Mermaid Tears' is personally collected by Leila from the island shores to be thoughtfully crafted into one of a kind keepsakes holding within them, the secrets of the sea.

Each selected piece from her rare collection is weathered by decades, and sometimes hundreds of years in colors of frosty white, aquamarine, emerald, lavender and cobalt blue along with shards of ancient pottery. It is art, treasure and keepsake, bearing years of untold history.
