Carol Knepper

Carol Knepper, having served as an English teacher for young people in grades 7 - 11 for 31 years, began her pursuit of a life-long interest in writing after retirement from the public school system of the Province of New Brunswick. In the process of this new careeer, Ms. Knepper encountered noted New Brunswick poet, Richard Doiron, who later became her mentor and has been continuing in that role for a number of years.

Between the two of them, they now market books as well as promote messages of peace and unity on their website, http://www.spiritsinpeace.com/index.html.

Carol's poem, Sunrise In Kandaha, has been aired on the CBC program, Shifts, as well as read on World Poetry Cafe' by Ariadne Sawyer. In addition, she has had her poetry displayed on Ariadne Sawyer's World Poetry, and has served as a judge in one of their contests.

Carol is currently serving as an associate editor of Richard Vallance's Sonetto Poesia, and will have two poems appearing in the upcoming anthology, In The Company of Women, to be released in early 2012.
