Apryl Skies
Apryl Skies, a Los Angeles native, whose creativity is not exclusive to her passion for poetic composition, expresses a natural talent with poetry, photography and canvas. Her work has been published by The International Library of Poetry, H Style Magazine, Infinity Art Gallery, ModelPoetry.com, Carty's Poetry Journal of Ireland for the December 2010-January 2011 Edition, which includes Skies' photography and poetry. In addition, she was chosen Poet of the Week in December of 2010 by Poetry Super Highway.

Apryl Skies is a superbly visual and telling writer with an extensive writing history whose work, published both domestically and internationally, holds merit among authors both classic and new. As a staple in Sherman Oaks and owner of Personally Yours Mail Boxes, Skies developed her own greeting card line in 2007, quite a fitting venture for a poet.
Dedicated to maintaining the integrity of poetics in art, culture and community, she is the Sherman Oaks Poetry Examiner and highlights the poetry of some of the most talented local writers and authors in the Los Angeles area for the Examiner.com.
Besides writing, photography and painting, she enjoys hiking and her husband's homemade tomato sauce.
